Jerry and Mary Ann, Ted and Jill had a good cruise over to Cuyama for a really nice
show & shine. Weather was good, beautiful clear day. The club was well represented
in the awards and raffle. Jerry won the 50-50 drawing. Pictures of Jerry and Mary
Ann (show me the money). Jerry is from Cuyama and had a special display of class
pictures, 1964 graduation announcement and list of teachers from his day . He made
some long lost contacts at the meet. (See poster) Everyone was playing 'Where's
Jerry?'
Ted won 2nd in class (pre-83 Chevy's) and the student choice award by the 8th
grade class of Cuyama School. New license plate did the trick. CRZRWGN.
A cool 66 with a 502 from Lompoc. Nice couple invited us to their meet on July 7th.
They tell of an open header cruise.
Nice yellow 64 (I think).
And finally a really nice Cuda from Bakersfield parked with us. Just to show we
appreciate all types of cars and people.
Several car clubs from Bakersfield there: Chevelles/El Caminos of Bakersfield, Chevy
Limited, Corvettes of Bakersfield, OFCC. Good chance to meet other mostly from the
Central Coast.
Great meet, fun day, prizes too.
